So much going on—it’s raining, we’ve moved to a wonderful new house, Margaret is crawling and waving, my festering wounds from the man-o-war encounter are starting to fade, (another Jungle Diary forthcoming) and…

PORTAL is back!

That’s right—especially given all the drama surrounding the UN-publication of my book, PORTAL: The Art of Choosing Orgasmic, Pain-Free, Blissful Birth (I wrote an incredibly convoluted article about the experience called “How to Ban a Book Without Banning a Book” which you can read here) I figured I should officially let everyone know that at long-last, after several months of ridiculousness including negotiations with lawyers, and a series of unfortunate freelancer hires and fires (nevermind the gory details) PORTAL is once again available, this time widely, unrestrictedly, and under the imprint of my own publishing company, Maieutic Books.

To celebrate, and as a gesture of thanks to everyone who has supported me so enthusiastically and lovingly over the years (not to mention to help to regain some of PORTAL’s momentum after its period in limbo) I have decided to offer the ebook version of PORTAL *for free* only until July 28th, 2024. Simply head to your country’s Amazon (here is the US link) and you’ll see the kindle edition at $0.00—but only until Sunday July 28th!

AND—last but not least—every new edition of PORTAL contains a QR code in the first few pages (I think right after the table of contents—which, now that I’ve seen the new version of the book, I think is quite an awkward place, but oh well) that will give you access to my 7-part Wild Mothering Masterclass Series—a collection of my most popular long-form lectures and teachings on holistic pregnancy, birth, and parenting—my gift to you.
